District Six Nominating Committee Sons of  Norway

 

 

Delegates to the June 19-22, 2016 District Six Lodge Meeting and Convention should be elected prior to March.

Because the District Six Board is comprised of elected members from our fifty local lodges and candidates for the Board must be a delegate, the Nominating Committee requests that anyone with the talent and interest in serving our District submit their name for election as a delegate. As all Board members are elected from the convention delegates, we are dependent on having potential future Board members serving as 2016 delegates.

Resolutions* approved at the 2014 International Lodge Meeting state that all candidates for District office are to apply to the Nominating Committee instead of during the District Lodge Meeting in June. All information for the application as well as a list of duties for all thirteen positions are available on www.sofn6.org  Please contact any of the Nominating Committee members, as listed on the website, for further clarification or to submit an application.

*This also applies to International Board candidates; however those of us from Districts 5 through 8 are in the middle of our 2014 – 2018 term. Districts 1 through 4 will elect new International Directors this year.
