Sons of Norway District Six Language and Heritage Camps offer participants a unique opportunity to deepen their connection with Scandinavian culture all while having fun in a traditional summer camp setting. Attendees enjoy field games, swimming, and hiking, but unlike other summer camps they also experience unique cultural activities including daily Norwegian lessons, rosemaling, axe throwing, folk dancing, and Scandinavian cooking.

Our Team
Our staff is made up of a dedicated team passionate about Norwegian culture. With a certified teacher at the helm, you can be ensured that our camp follows best practices for youth development. Our co-directors both attended our camp as youth and are excited to share their experience with the next generation. Some of our staff grew up in or currently live in Norway, which gives our campers a unique perspective of life in Norway.
All staff go through a rigorous background screening process. And we have a high staff to youth ratio. There is always a certified nurse on site.
