Eligibility Requirements:

Must be between 14-17 years old (at the time Folkehøgskule begins)
Must be a child, grandchild or great grandchild of a Sons of Norway District Six Member in good standing or sponsored by a Sons of Norway Member in good standing.
Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, National origin, sex or handicap. All applicants will be accepted based on staff availability

Refund Policy: No Program fees refunded after the first day of Folkehøgskule.

Travel: For those youth traveling by Amtrak train (Colfax station) or Air (either Sacramento, CA or Reno, NV airports) to and/or from Camp Norge, there will be an additional $40.00 charge per trip. Parents are advised to complete guardianship forms and contact Jason Morken and Rebekah Strand, our Camp Directors, camp.director@sofn6.org to arrange travel plans prior to booking tickets on a train or plane. Due to heightened security restrictions only those individuals specifically identified on travel documents will be permitted to meet a child at the gate or airline desk. Please inform the registrar prior to June 14, 2026 if transportation from the Sacramento Airport is needed. Flight arrival must be before 12 noon and departure after 3 pm.
